It was a beautiful day on the Juniata River today! We went from Howe Park to Ken's Beach. The water was 3.46 on the Newport gauge. The lowest I have ever done a Juniata trip. I took my Pungo. I got stuck a few times, but did not have to get out and walk!!! We played for a while at Iroquois Falls and the waves from the ledges downstream.
This short trip took about 3 hours. I guess if we did not stop it would have been only 2 hours. We took out at Ken's Beach. Ken Schull has made improvements to the beach and his hover is almost ready to fly.
